when your flight is delayed

It sucks when your flight is delayed. Whenever I fly, I've made a conscious effort to consolidate all of my travel on one airline; United has taken me to Tokyo, London, Bankok, New York, Chicago... Well, that's the problem: the one city I *need* to travel to isn't on the list: Syracuse. And because of this, I'm often stuck taking US Airways shitty, unreliable, schedule-out-the-door flights from Syracuse to LaGuardia. So what does one do at the airport when their flight is delayed and when they're bored and sleepy and not wanting to do anything?

Well, I spent the bulk of my time napping, trying to hold my head up with my hand, arm rested on the armrest. I kept on dozing off as if I were in a class in which I lack interest.

Not being able to sleep though, I began to click through various blogs (look at the "good reads") in my sidebar. I love hearing about new things and updates on individual's with whom I probably wouldn't have any contact otherwise.

Yet, sometimes I feel as if the blogger's writing is targeted specifically at me. And, sometimes it's pretty harsh. I don't think that the blogger's being mean... I guess that's just the way they write.

Anyway... The sun is almost set here, my cabinet and staff are working on my state of the union, and I'm sitting here waiting for my damn plane to be "maintainanced" so that I can get my schooling on again.

Hmm... The pilot next to me just got ice cream; I think I'm going to do the same!

UPDATE 2010h: I'm finally on the US AIRWAYS flight 3150, but the cabin door isn't shut and we haven't taken off. Stupid.
