Sanctuary

a place of refuge or asylum
a sacred place, such as a church, temple, or mosque

To recreate such a place for many of us, it has been difficult. I think that over these past few weeks, I have found much solace in hanging out with my family and friends, as I prepare to go away for a while.

The times I spend with these people are a sanctuary. I can take a step away from the realities of life and live freely with the people I love... I find that I can be myself, though at times I do feel a bit awkward, making great memories... And I find that I can also share stories with my cousins that--I hope--can be told my children later on in life.

Now... To think about how to do this for a living. This is the true challenge.
