Dear Justin,

The Financial Aid Committee has carefully considered your request for merit-based assistance for the 2005-2006 academic year. Unfortunately we are unable to offer you assistance at this time. We receive numerous requests for scholarship assistance but due to of our limited resources we are unable to meet the financial needs of every student.

Although we are unable to offer you a scholarship award at this time, it does not preclude you from applying for a scholarship once you have completed a year at NYU Wagner. Many continuing students, particularly those who do very well academically, apply for and receive scholarship assistance for their second academic year.

Again, I want to reassure you that not receiving a scholarship at this time does not eliminate the possibility of receiving an award in the future.
It's time to consider Carnegie Mellon or Teaching English in Japan. Maybe Maxwell will come through (if I get in)?
