I <3 my ate!!!

I love my Ate!!! It's so funny how she and I are in the same position, and how we're on the same career track... She has her masters degree, and I'm about to get mine. We're both really passionate about certain issues, enjoy traveling and shopping, and we're really dorky! She and I have been in pretty intense relationships with our ex's, but just like her I'll probably be single for a while; however, once I find the one I "love"--I think I have--I'll definitely be as happy as her!

Ate Tiff is a great person. I remember when we were younger, she was super dorky and always had her hair in pigtails. She loved wearing pink and white horizontally striped clothing and dancing to Madonna. I'll never forget how she and my other ate made me their little barbie doll--I had a sticker collection instead of a basketball card collection. [I eventually got to the baseketball cards.]

I especially love how now, as I go through what she went through in applying for graduate school, I can turn to her for advice. She knows what it's like and tells me what to expect... She's definitely one of the smart ones in my extended family. More interestingly, she's now getting into a relationship... And, we're both confused about where we're at in the stages of it. Yet, she and I are now able to talk about our weird, interesting, funny, and memorable moments with our significant others.

Through it all, I LOVE MY ATE!!
