ITEM 1: book a DIRECT flight to JFK

Do you have any idea how hard it is to book an affordable direct flight from the Bay to JFK!??! This took like 2 hours of searching various websites and airlines. All the while, I tried to restrict myself to American Airlines because I have a $300 travel voucher that I haven't used yet. Well, THANK GOD I FOUND A DEAL and an itinerary that'll work. [I'll post the itinerary for all my stalkers when the date gets closer.]

ITEM 2: book hotel room in New York

New York hotels are fu*king expensive in the spring... Even the cheapy ones. Regardless, I've got a place I'm pretty happy with, and I'm getting both AAdvantage miles and HHonors points.

1. negotiate financial award
2. read all about New York City
3. look at pictures of New York City
4. find out if there'll be sample sales
5. ask Pilipino NYU students to say hello...
   

AHH!!!!!! I'm [still] SOOOO excited! I think the "city that never sleeps" has crept up on me... I've been staying up all night long trying to figure all this stuff out.
