Practice Safe Mex

Working the scene... 71 degrees and cloudy, in the Smoky City. A late morning starts at noon, and I am already behind on the piles of homework assigned to me by my favorite professor.

He's an eclectic man, able to navigate the challenges posed by undergrad students with his sense of sarcastic humor. He's an inspiration, able to change the way people think about the world through his witty commentary about West Virginia. [Sorry, Jason.]

I went to Dr. Taylor's office hours on Friday, and he told me the greatest thing... "A Master's in Public Policy is like an MBA for Democrats." I knew that I sensed it when I was initially here. I was amazed by the people who are here at Carnegie Mellon for my program. One of them is Katie.

A smart lady of 5'4", she holds her head high, proud of her youth and her unique attitude. She left a message on her friend's phone, calling her by Miss fill in your last name here. "Should she still live at this residence, please have her return my telephone call on my telephone. However, I will attempt to reach her at her other home." Amazing hair... A smile, reminiscent of the Mona Lisa, except this one smokes Camel Lights. =P

She took me out today. Going to a "Mexican restaurant" in Pittsburgh is interesting. What did it taste like, you ask? Well, it tasted pretty bad. Though, I must say that their strawberry margarita was not as smooth as one would expect--can we say lots of tequila? Regardless, the waitress, who shall remain nameless, was definitely trying to get to "know me better".

As such, Katie and I will be back at Mad Mex tomorrow... Let's see if I can get to know her better tomorrow, too. ;-)
